The 6 Best Running Spots In Dubai

Avatar

Running. Love it or loathe it you can’t deny we’ve got some pretty great tracks in this city.

Here’s the low down of our favorites.

6. Al Barsha Park

Not the longest running track going but they’ve got that great soft spongy track that we love. Like on the Corniche, every 100 metres is marked…which is a good boost to keep you going we think!

Entrance is free. Open 8am – 10pm daily.

Distance 1.4km

5. Al Safa Park

One of the most popular tracks in the city, come here for a decent work out. Watch out for the running groups…unless you’re feeling competitive!

Park opens 8am – 10pm daily. (Track is on the perimetre though so you can run it when the park is closed)

Distance: About 3.5km

4. The Palm Jumeirah

If you fancy a run with a view come here. A route that’s not too busy and you pass some amazing trees and growth as you go.

Distance: The shoreline route is about 4km and the Cresent route is about 11km.

3. Dubai Marina

Another great spot with a pretty exceptional view. Unfortunately there’s none of that great spongy ground we love and the area can get a bit busy with pedestrians in the evening so make this one a morning run!

Distance: 4.5km

2. Dubai Creek

An amazingly green park with a great view of the Dubai skyline. If you feel like exploring, exit the park and try and take in a bit of the Creek area…we recommend coming here for a sunrise run!

Park opening: 8am – 11pm (11.30 on weekends). Entrance fee: AED 5

Distance 4km

1. Jumeriah Corniche

This was always getting the number one spot. The 14km track starts at the Burj Al Arab and runs along the corniche from there. Great ground, never overly crowded and there’s nothing like jumping in for a dip in the sea when you’re done!

Distance: 14km
