An Ex Teacher From Kate Middleton’s Former UK School Has Been Released From UAE Jail

A former teacher at the Duchess of Cambridge’s former school, who was detained in December 2017 for sending insults online, has been released according to international reports.

According to a social media post from his mother via the Daily Mail, CW was released from an Al Ain jail, following an intervention from the British government.

W, a 39-year-old teacher was working at a high school in Abu Dhabi at the time of his arrest, and is allegedly still unclear which online insult resulted in his detention.

W previously worked at the Downe House School in Berkshire, UK

A school formerly attended by Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge.

Before W moved to Abu Dhabi where he allegedly worked as a teacher at Brighton College, Abu Dhabi.
