A Gang Assaulted Staff And Security While Trying To Rob AED 400,000 From A Money Exchange
A gang of men have been arrested on suspicion of assaulting staff and security men and attempting to rob a van transporting cash from a money exchange.
In total the men, all African, stole AED 400,000 according to a report from the Khaleej Times.
The men attacked staff at the money exchange and the van outside which would transport the cash.
The incident took place in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi and was reported to the police at the Falaj Hazza police station.
The men admitted to the crime
Following an admittance of guilt, the men have been referred to public prosecution.
