A Man Tried To Smuggle AED60 Million Of Drugs Into The UAE In A Rather Creative Way

Abu Dhabi authorities have seized an illegal shipment of amphetamines worth AED60 million this week, that was hidden in olive oil jars. 

The smuggler had attempted to conceal the drugs within blocks of cheese and eggplant that were transported in the glass jars.

Officials received a tip-off about the 21-year-old man and seized the drugs in Mohammed Bin Zayed City. 

The suspect has been arrested.
