After Ryan Reynolds...Ex-James Bond Pierce Brosnan Is All Set To Begin Filming In The UAE This February
Fans of James Bond franchise heading to the capital next week...we've some exciting news for you.
Abu Dhabi has now become the newest shoot location for Pierce Brosnan's upcoming film called ‘The Misfits’, a gold heist thriller.
It will begin filming in the emirate later this month and will be directed by renowned action veteran Renny Harlin; think Die Hard 2, Deep Blue Sea and Skip Trace.
The film also stars actors like Jamie Chung and Hermoine Corfield.

“We are extremely excited to have him on board,” said director Renny Harlin. “Pierce and I have been friends for many years and have been looking for a project to collaborate on for some time. I could not have hoped for a better actor to play our lead.”
The Misfits will be produced by Kia Jam and Dean Altit, and they say the film will begin shooting from February 18.
"After visiting and scouting Abu Dhabi, we were blown away. We all agreed in order to do the film justice, production would have to take place primarily on location in Abu Dhabi rather than LA, and we set up our base at the spectacular Jumeirah at Etihad Towers," said the producers.
