Avril Lavigne DAZZLED The Crowd With Her Phenomenal Performance At The Special Olympics Opening Ceremony
What a SPECTACULAR line-up!
The opening ceremony of Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019 was a night to remember… with artists such as Avril Lavigne, Luis Fonsi, Hussain al Jassmi and Tamer Hosny all giving some LIT performances making the crowd go crazy on Thursday night.
The games was opened by HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces
“We are proud to be here with the Special Olympics athletes. We send a message to the world that anything is possible with determination,” said he in his inaugural speech
Even HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai was part of the historic night

More than 7,500 athletes competing from over 195 countries and territories were introduced in the athlete’s parade
However, the highlight of the evening was when Canadian popstar Avril Lavigne sang the Special Olympics anthem, ‘Right Where I’m Supposed To Be’ alongside other incredible musicians…
