7DAYS UAE Social Media Profiles Have Now Merged With Lovin Dubai

At the end of last year, it was announced that difficult circumstances led to the closure of 7DAYS Media. Over the years, 7DAYS had amassed a large and loyal social media following. Many of the team will continue to work in the industry in the UAE, but we also wanted to ensure that the online community that grew over time didn’t go to waste.

Lovin Dubai shares a lot of the same values and outlook as 7DAYS. Although we were never a national newspaper, we do report on the day to day events in this great country and, in particular, everything that makes Dubai tick. For those reasons, both the Lovin Dubai and 7DAYS teams came together and decided to merge the social media accounts, creating a combined community of almost one million followers across.

Facebook pages, Instagram accounts and Twitter profiles have merged all under @LovinDubai

‘Part of the community’

“Over many years we built a large and highly engaged audience across our social media platforms due to the high quality and unique nature of 7DAYS content.  We believe ‘Lovin Dubai’ will continue to inform and entertain you in the same spirit and we hope you enjoy being a part of their community.”

Mark Rix – CEO 7DAYS

An honor and a privilege

“Social media plays a very important role in how media is consumed today, we are delighted to take on the profiles of 7DAYS UAE both in terms of assuming a large audience that now have a gap in their daily newsfeed and accepting the responsibilities that go along with it. It’s a honor and a privilege to be able to continue the legacy of 7DAYS in some small way.”
