Forget about AirBnB-ing your next New Year’s party at Downtown Dubai.

Emaar Properties has now stopped allowing the daily, weekly or monthly rental of any residential spots in this part of the Emirate, reports Big News Network.

Sub-letters are given less than TWO weeks to halt all short-term lettings

Yes, folks.

According to a new decree by the master developer of Downtown Dubai, Airbnb’s in this part of town is no more.

The reason?

To improve the “wellbeing of the community”.

Operations will be stopped from September 19, 2019 in all Downtown Dubai communities.
