A Savvy Tweeter Has Found A Hint That Amazon Is Launching Amazon.ae And This Could Be Great News
It wasn’t really that long ago, that Amazon acquired souq.com, and started rolling out its products to the region.
So it’s natural that Amazon would want to bring a piece of its own goodness via its own domain, with something like Amazon.ae – and it looks as though that might just be the case.
Omar Kassim, a Tweep and well-known techie in Dubai, tweeted some screenshots of the plain text site that it looks like Amazon is building.

If Amazon.ae launches, it could open the UAE up to MILLIONS of new products
At present, Amazon.ae redirects to the global store, but a local website would open up more products, likely a UAE office, and plenty more to come.
And start a PROPER war for customers between Amazon and Noon.com.
