Another Licence Plate Auction Is Happening On Sunday And Anyone Can Go

The number plate auctions often gather plenty of interest thanks to their prestige. 

Business people come out to spend some serious cash on plates, with the last auction raising AED27 million. 

And the next one  – the 48th – is this week. 

Plates auctioned off will be high-values of three, four, and five-digit numbers. 

If you win one, you have 10 working days to submit payment. 

Thanks to the RTA, you can go along to the auction – if you are willing to pay the AED120 entry fee and submit a 5K deposit

The auction will start on Sunday June 11, and run for five days. 

The location of the auction is unspecified until you register with the RTA to go along.
