Attempts To Smuggle 115kg Of Drugs Inside A Drilling Machine Into The UAE Landed Five Men In Jail

115kg of drugs and 750,000 pill drugs, almost made it’s way into the UAE after police arrested five men on Monday. 

The men hid the drugs in a drilling rig and transported them on board a ship from a neighbouring country into the UAE. 

A tip led police to suspect that the machine would be transporting drugs upon its arrival to Al Hamriyah Port.

The suspect were all of Arab origin

One of the suspects is a 45-year-old business man and the second is a 33-year-old engineer, both of which were in charge of releasing the drilling machine upon arrival. 

The two other suspects were arrested in their hotel room and the last suspect was apprehended in Dubai.
