Construction Is Beginning On The AED176 Million Dragon City Hotel

Nakheel property developers in Dubai have taken another step forward in the construction of their next hotel in Dragon City. It is their third hotel to begin construction, with a plan for 16 hotels and serviced apartments to be built in Dubai as part of their expansion into hospitality.

They handed over the construction contract to Al Ghurair Contracting and Engineering Works LLC. worth AED 136 million. 

The new Premier Inn Dragon City will hold 304 rooms.

It will also house a restaurant, Costa Coffee and a gym. It will be part of a huge development in Dragon city to transform it into a retail, residential and recreational complex of over 11 million square feet.

At the moment Dragon City is best known for its Dragon Mart, the largest Chinese trading hub outside of China, which welcomes more than 40 million visitors each year. 

Construction will begin soon with an expected opening in 2019
