Baba Ramdev is popular for promoting yoga among Indians through this mass yoga camps and will be a part of the second International Yoga Day event in the city. Thankfully the event at Dubai World Trade Centre's Convention and Exhibition Centre later this month will only see him conduct yoga sessions for enthusiasts and not deliver his famous speeches.

We all remember last year’s event (just in case you don’t the pictures below should refresh your memory) and how successful it was.

Held indoors this year, it promises to have a greater line-up of events and bigger participation. It will take place three days ahead (ie: 18 June) of International Yoga Day and after Iftar hours.

The event is being organised by...

The Indian Consulate in association with the Dubai Sports Council under the patronage of Shaikh Ahmad Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. DTCM and XYoga will be supporting the event too, with XYoga providing mats for participants.
