These Dubai Ladies Are Painting Old Masters Like The Real Things
There is an art show opening in Dubai, but it’s an art show with a twist.
13 Dubai painters have outdone themselves by taking masterpieces and reproducing them with their own personal flair.
The show, curated by Judy Shinnick, brings the old classics to life so if you’re a fan, this show is definitely worth a visit.

It’s been 18 months in the making
Painters Sunju Kwon, Dalal Hamdan, Nada Amhaz, Bonnie Moore, Dimple Shah, Susan Boni, Kajan Raouf, Umme Salama, Dina El Karimy, Jyoti Sethi, Linda Zou, Natalie Yazigi and Yasmin Khayal have studied, researched and reproduced some of the world’s masterpieces.
Reproductions of Caravaggio, Vermeer, Van Eyck and more….
You’ll also get a small history of the old masters and an insight into how the current pieces were created
A picture series will be on display to give you an idea of how the paintings were created, along with the history of the original art works, the painter’s biographies, and some of their recent commissions.
Note: The paintings on show are not for sale, but the painters are available for commission work.
