Updated:

Dubai Creek will be home to the world's tallest tower, and the accompanying picture showed the stunning design.

The tower, which is set for completion by 2020, is costing an estimated AED 3.67 billion to complete (that's 1 billion dollars!).

HH Sheikh Mohammed Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and Crown Prince of Dubai HH Sheikh Hamdan were on site reviewing progress of the foundation works.

Dubai Media Office shared the information yesterday

100 metres taller than the Burj Khalifa

Emaar properties are working on the 928 metre tall building, which for now is being referred to as 'The Tower'. An 360-degree observation deck will be open to the public...sounds like another to add the Dubai bucket list if you ask us.

This is what 'The Tower' will look like
