Dubai Is All Set To Open The World’s Largest Sports Mall by 2020 And It’s Going To Be One Of A Kind
In Dubai’s ever-growing list of the world’s largest/tallest/biggest creations, a commercial sports mall, which is all set to be the world’s largest sports mall, will soon find its inclusion.
A three-storey development that will have an area equivalent to that of 12 football pitches will be built by Dubai-based Viva City near Deira City Centre in the first quarter of 2020.

While the ground floor of the facility will be dedicated to having large open spaces meant for hosting various sports events, the other two floors will have space for sporting activities alongside several retail outlets by multiple sports brands as well as F&B outlets focused on organic and healthy diets.
Edgar Bove, head of design at Viva City, said, “the project will present big surprises both in design and activities, and will deliver a unique experience combining shopping, entertainment and sports.”
“It brings a new concept in creating active and exciting spaces to boost the morale of visitors. It will have three floors with a total area that is equal to 12 football pitches,” he added.

The mall will also feature one of the largest LED display panels
“The ground floor will be the most significant and will have a large space for organising various sporting events. The other two levels will feature retail outlets by the most prominent international sports brands as well as dedicated spaces for various sports activities in addition to a large chain of restaurants and cafes, which food provide organic and beverages that are consistent with the nature and identity of the mall as it attracts fans and followers of more than 40 kinds of sports.
