Dubai Opera Just Got Even Cooler By Adding This Singer-Songwriter To It's October Lineup

1 Oh James Morrison 4383

The curtains fell for the first time at Dubai Opera last weekend and the buzz was HUGE. Tickets for the first show sold-out in three hours and 2,000 lucky ticket holders (including His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum) turned out for the opening night.

The venue has a spotlight on musicals and orchestral pieces; think the likes of Spanish tenor Placido Domingo, a Mozart Gala and Les Misérables, but it's also a multi-purpose venue...WHICH MEANS that soul, pop and rock singer James Morrison is going to perform this coming October 7th!

Singer-songwriter and crooner extraordinaire, James has a whole load of hit tunes (four albums to be precise) but 'You Give Me Something' and 'Broken Strings' with Nelly Furtado are our particular favourites.

Want tickets to see James?

Us too! Check out the Dubai Opera website and sign up for more info. You'll be notified as soon as tickets become available (likely to be just after the Eid holidays).

Here's a quick reminder of some of his most famous hits...
