Dubai Continues Its Knack Of Winning Global Conferences

Remember all the excitement in the air when Dubai won the Expo 2020 bid? Well, it’s time to celebrate again. This time it’s a win for the real estate industry. Bravo! The official convention bureau, Dubai Business Events and the Dubai Real Estate Institute (the education arm of the Dubai Land Department) together delivered a successful bid for hosting the 69th World Real Estate Congress in Dubai in 2018. Organised by the International Real Estate Federation, the annual event will be a first in the Middle East and is set to attract more than 1,000 real estate professionals from over 60 nations. 

What does this mean for Dubai?

A boost in the city’s growth as a leading global hub for investment. Plus, the announcement will contribute towards its maturing real estate market that strives on innovative developments and a healthy regulatory environment.

“Our successful bid reflects the country’s acclaimed top ranking as a global investment haven and the emirate’s strengths in attracting and hosting international business events of the highest calibre.”
