Let’s rewind to the Middle East’s first and only supercar – the over AED 10 million W Motors’ Lykan Hypersport. Its designer, Anthony Jannarelly, has returned with a new offering called the Jannarelly Design-1. 

Here’s what you should know about this slightly more affordable rear-wheel-drive sports car that should go on sale worldwide later this year.

It is inspired by the 1957 Ferrari Testarossa and utilises carbon fibre on the interior and other lightweight materials. The lump under the bonnet is good for 305bhp

It has a tubular framed chassis cloaked in aluminium panels, fitted with a V6 (from the Nissan 370Z)

It has double wishbone suspension front and rear, plus adjustable coilovers and weighs 700 kg
