And now we’re heading towards a happiness city.

So what is this happiness city? It’s a place which will be centered around the happiness of its residents. Sounds unreal? It isn’t. Developer Dubai South unveiled these plans at Cityscape Global. It launched two projects today The Villages and The Pulse, both a part of Residential District in Dubai South.

It will focus on the wellbeing of residents by providing solutions to everyday issues…

We’re
talking anything from parking to walkability and even planning of multiple
entry and exit points that help in reducing traffic congestion.

Executive chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and
Dubai South, Khalifa Al Zaffin said: “At Dubai South we welcome
you to the City of You, to be part of a reinvented urban ecosystem and
experience, for the very first time, a city designed primarily on the happiness
and wellbeing of its people, with the aim of providing solutions for everyday
living. The time has come to welcome home happiness.”

A little more on the Residential District…

The 87m
sq ft project is close to Al Maktoum International Airport
and the Expo 2020 site. The Villages is a residential project due
for completion in 2018 while The Pulse is a mixed-use project. Think a retail,
sports and community centre. Plus, it has a school, hospital, mosque and mall all
within walking distance. They’ve thrown in ample parking space, a children’s
playground and a yoga lounge too.
