Dubai’s Ruler Invites Philanthropists Of The Community To Be The Next ‘Arab Hope Maker’

HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai announced via Twitter the search for the next ‘Arab Hope Maker’

The ruler announced on Monday that submissions for the role open on Tuesday, and the winner would receive an AED1m reward.

What makes an Arab Hope Maker?

According to The National individuals in the Middle East region who hold philanthropic activities and legacy could either nominate themselves or be nominated by others. Another essential trait to consider is one who is “master of self-sacrifice and serving people”, as well as a contributor to philanthropic and compassionate work.

This individual must be recognised within their community for positive attitude, behaviour outlook and belief towards the youth of the Arab world. 

Age limits? Between five and 95 years old.
