F1 Weekend Has Moved And Is Going To CLASH With Rugby Sevens And It’s Going To Be The Busiest Weekend EVER

The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend has been officially moved to a week later than it typically is, meaning it will be on the same weekend as the Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens.

The F1 is usually on the weekend prior to Dubai Sevens, but will now be the same weekend – as of 2019.

It’ll also be the same weekend as UAE’s National Day – so it’s going to be a VERY busy weekend next year.

The news was announced on Friday by the FIA following a World Motor Sport Council meeting.

This year dates will remain as expected with F1 weekend commencing on November 22

And Rugby Sevens on the following weekend – November 29.
