Fuel Prices For February Have Been Announced And It’s Not Great News

If you drive a car in Dubai, then you’ve already had to paid extra at the petrol station starting January because of the introduction of the VAT (five percent). And now the Ministry of Energy announced the new fuel prices on Sunday, showing an increase. 

The increase in fuel prices come with the introduction of the VAT to the UAE, which was effective at the beginning of the year. 

These are the new petrol prices that you can expect this February: 

  • Super 98 at DHS 2.36    (an increase of one fils) 
  • Special 95 at DHS 2.25    (an increase of 13 fils) 
  • E-Plus at DHS 2.17    (an increase of 12 fils) 
  • Diesel at DHS 2.49 per litre    (an increase of 16 fils)
