A Study Has Found Half Of UAE Couples Have “Netflix Cheated”
A study of UAE residents has found half of couples have cheated on their partner with Netflix.
And when we say that, don’t worry – we mean half of couples have watched that special show without their other half.
Netflix released the statistics in conjunction with Valentine’s Day.
It’s quite easily done
Many watch ahead when they’re not supposed to with 32% of cheating happening when one of the duo fall asleep.
A third of couples admitted they’ve even gotten into fights about one of them watching ahead in the tv show.
The top shows where couples ‘Netflix cheated’ are: Black Mirror, Bloodline, Chef’s Table, Gilmore Girls, Marvel’s Daredevil, Star Trek and Stranger Things.
It’s exactly 50% of UAE that admitted the cheating
Compared to the lowest, 27% of couples in The Netherlands followed by 35% in Germany. The highest cheaters are in Brazil and Mexico, with 57% watching ahead.
And why do we cheat on Netflix?
58% said it was an uncontrollable desire to find out what happens next. And really with all the cliff hangers on programming these days, can you blame them?
