Head To The Airport Earlier Than Usual If Your Flight Departs From Terminal 3

Peak hour traffic is not the only thing you should be worrying about if you’re taking a flight out of Terminal 3 (the one that is exclusive to Emirates Airlines). 

The route to the terminal will be affected by roadworks that are happening at the intersection of Marrakesh Street and Airport Road. 

The RTA is working towards building a flyover and tunnel from the Airport Road towards Marrakech Street to reduce waiting time at the intersection to one minute given the pace at which traffic will be increasing over the next few years. Around 92 million passengers are expected to be using Dubai Airports by 2020.
