defo heard of Deliveroo, haven’t you?
The food delivery company that brings you stuff from high quality
restaurants to your doorstep is soon going to have something very exciting for
this city. Don’t underestimate the brand; it’s grown massively since its launch
in November 2015 (think 20 drivers to around 300).
Introducing RooBox…
This concept will launch later this year and what it essentially does is allow restaurants to service areas that previously might have been out of their reach. This will be done by renting out shipping containers (placed in car parks) to restaurants.
Plus, they will step up their game on timing…
They’re looking at being able to deliver food within 20 minutes for the lunchtime market. Their current delivery time is around 32 minutes, while the average delivery time for most restaurants in Dubai is around 50 minutes.
Two things you need to know about Deliveroo…
Diners can only order food within a 10-minute radius (that explains why it’s quality stuff we’re talking about) and there’s a delivery charge of AED 7.
