Hold On To Outdoor Plans, Dusty Weather Continues

Haze

The day has been extremely dusty and unfortunately that isn't changing.

The National Center of Meteorology and Seismology said, "NCMS confirms warning against scattered convective clouds especially to the East and South associated at times with strong winds causing blowing dust / sand and rain with poor visibility less than 1500m".

Motorists have been urged to reduce speed and maintain a safe distance between vehicles. To ensure their safety during low visibility, they should park their vehicles on the right shoulder of the road and switch on their hazard lights. They should also avoid parking under trees and construction sites.

The highest temperature recorded today was 49 degrees Celsius
