An Additional Fee Will Be Now Be Charged During Certain Transactions In Dubai

An innovation dirham fee will now be charged by government agencies in Dubai for each transaction they make.

The purpose of this fee is to support educational and cultural projects in the emirate.

The fee will be AED10 per transaction

The revenues generated from the innovation fees will go entirely to the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), to boost the emirate’s innovation environment.

The knowledge and innovation fees will NOT be levied at transactions valued at less than AED50
