It’s Official Next Week Is Only A Three Day Working Week For The Private Sector

We recently announced the Eid Al Fitr timings for the public sector, however the timings for the private sector have only just been announced.

Saqr Ghobash, the  Minsister of Human Resources and Eimiratisation announced this morning that the first and second days of Shawwal are expected to correspond with Wednesday, July 6th and Thursday, July 7th depending on the moon sighting. 

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai recently chaired a meeting of the UAE Cabinet where they stated that public businesses will be closed from Sunday, July 3rd until Sunday, July 10th.

Dr Ibrahim Al Jarwan, assistant director of Sharjah Centre for Astronomy and Space Sciences, has also predicted that the final day of Ramadan will fall on Tuesday, July 5th, and Wednesday, July 6th, would be the first day of Eid Al Fitr.
