Jumeirah Beach Hotel first opened in Dubai in the year 1997 and has proven to be one of the city’s most popular hotel spots.

After almost 21 years, the hotel is planning to temporarily close in two months for a whole new do.

It is scheduled to continue it’s two year renovation and will no longer accept guests at the premise starting this May to complete it – the continuing change will occur to the remaining 425 guest rooms, public spaces, the lobby, retail shops, the beach, outdoor areas, restaurants and dining outlets

It will reopen it’s doors in December

The massive 618-room hotel will open it’s doors again to guests in December to mark their 21st year anniversary.

Any guests who have planned to stay at the legendary hotel from May to December will be given alternative options within Madinat Jumeirah.

Wild Wadi waterpark, Talise gym, and some facilities around the hotel will remain open for the duration of the hotel makeover.
