One Of Our Own: Morocco Qualified For The World Cup Last Night And The Excitement Is Contagious
The UAE didn’t qualify for the World Cup, but the fact that so many of our neighbours are making the trip to Russia in 2018 more than makes up for it.
Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Tunisia qualified and now Morocco will join them after a huge 2-0 victory against the Ivory Coast last night.
It’s the first time the Moroccan team has qualified for the tournament since 1998 and they have not conceded a single goal yet… so as expected, people are pretty excited.
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai wishes success to all
