Due To Popular Demand The Palm Jumeirah Has Opened A New Monorail Station
The Palm Jumeriah Monorail has opened a new station at Al Ittihad Park to cope with growing demand, according to developer Nakheel.
The station, which has been inaugurated this week, is located at Al Ittihad Park, central on the Palm Jumeirah.
Nakheel also released statistics that the number of monorail users has risen 70% in the past four years, up from 590,000 in 2013 – to an expected 1.1 million for 2017 (with 3,000 passengers using the service each day).
The station will see the monorails every 11 minutes between 9am-10.30pm daily
