Palm Jumeirah To Get A New Japanese Restaurant And Here’s Some Interesting Stuff To Know About The Place

has some really good Japanese restaurants, so when you find out that there’s a
new one set to open in the city…expectations are pretty high.
KYO Restaurant and Lounge will open very soon on the Golden
Mile, Palm Jumeirah and it promises to ‘bring a hint of Japan to Dubai’.
The venue will have a contemporary indoor area and a cool
outdoor lounge. However, what you should be aiming for are the VIP spaces
– each named after elements such as water, earth, fire, air, wood
and metal – that offer a one-of-a-kind dining experience.
Diners can opt for the café or lounge menu…
The café options include brekkie dishes such as benedikuto (seaweed muffin, smoked salmon, poached egg), tamago yaki (Japanese omelette) and dorayaki (pancake with matcha tea and blueberry compote). Lunch and dinner options include robata specials, the bento box as well as sushi and sashimi.
The lounge menu boasts teppanyaki-style dishes, sushi and fun desserts like milk chocolate gyoza, sweet nigiri and azuki ice-cream.

The geisha is a blend of caramelised dragon fruit and hibiscus, topped with a non-alcoholic sparkling wine. They also have green lychee made with lychees, lime juice and mint syrup, topped with green tea soda. Plus, Japanese rice which is Japanese rice water with a hint of cinnamon syrup.

Take your pick from special home-infused flavours such as lemongrass, ginger or yuzu. If not, they have the regular ones like double apple, grape, strawberry, sweet melon and even cherry.
