Police Are Giving Residents 50% Off Fines Until The End Of The Year But There’s One Catch

To celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Sharjah Police, they have announced a 50% discount on police fines until the end of the year, hurrah! 

This doesn’t mean you can start breaking traffic rules in Sharjah now – it’s only retrospective payments, so any fines you accrued prior to October 18 are eligible. 

You have until December 31 to pay the fines, and can do so via the Ministry of Interior app. 

But wait, there’s more

Motorists can get black points wiped too…BUT you need to visit the Sharjah Traffic Department to avail.
