The Ministry of Education has reduced school hours during summer to help alleviate fatigue and the heat’s overall impact.
As we all may be aware of, the heat in this region can sometimes get a wee bit tedious, and so a solution has been put in place to combat this.
Class hours have been shortened and morning assemblies completely removed during hotter months.
In a tweet shared by the Ministry, it was stated that public schools’ class hours would go from 45 minutes to 40, allowing students time to move from one class to the other.
This means school hours, as a whole, will end an hour earlier than usual.
