Sharjah-Dubai Commute Just Got Easier With This New Road

If your work life involves the dreaded Sharjah to Dubai commute, this news will make you very happy!

Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) has announced the opening of a new road that runs from behind Sharjah English School all the way up to Oud Rakan Bridge on Maliha Road.

The 3km road was designed to ease congestion next to National Paints Bridge (specifically in Industrial Areas 15 and 16).

Therefore an alternate route to and from Sharjah should make things easier for commuters. The two-lane road cost a whopping AED 49 million to build.
