Sheikh Hamdan opened Art Dubai last night…
The 10th edition of Art Dubai kicked off last night in Madinat Jumeirah. It runs from the 16th to the 19th of March. There will be approximately 90 galleries on show with contemporary and modern works featuring artists from the Middle East, Africa and South Asia.
A fair is where galleries travel from far and wide to exhibit their artists best works with the hope of making a few sales as well. It’s not an exhibition, there isn’t an overall theme, message nor is the entire fair curated. What better way is there to understand the culture of the region in one place, than to see the works of the most creative people around today.
Art Dubai Turns 10
Official Opening
You will see in our March events, that there are activities taking place in Al Serkal Avenue, Dubai Design District and DIFC. All of which have their own galleries night this week as well. The main focus will be on the fair this weekend.
Last night was the official opening where Sheikh Hamdan attended.
