HH Sheikh Mohammed Has Announced The Launch Of A New Educational Campaign This Ramadan

Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President to the UAE and Ruler of Dubai announced the launch of a new educational campaign that is part of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives.

The Ramadan 2016 campaign aims to distribute 5 million books to children in refugee camps and schools around the world. The campaign is yet another initiative through which the UAE expresses its passion for serving humanity.

The Reading Nation campaign will provide #5MillionBooks for refugee students and students in schools in need around the World.

According to the website, it represents the UAE’s transition from feeding the hungry and quenching thirst, to nurturing the mind and the soul during the holy month of Ramadan.

We will provide children and students with two million books, establish 2,000 libraries and support educational and humanitarian programs.
