Registration Is Open For Spinneys Dubai 92 And There Are LOADS Of Reasons To Get Involved
The Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge registration is OPEN for December 15 and everyone should sign up, for plenty of reasons.
The final Build-Up Ride (there are four in total) is on November 24 – 85km (sign up here).
It’s for everyone
While there is a competitive component to it for some, it’s also a great way for aspiring riders to build up to it.
Our own commercial manager TJ had not ridden a bike competitively prior to the event, and has been actively participating in the build-up rides.
All you need to do is be able to maintain a 26kmph speed throughout the ride to ensure you finish before the cut-off.
Back for the second year (and for the super pros) is the Dubai First UCI Gran Fondo World Series qualifier ride – the only Middle East qualifying event for the UCI Gran Fondo World Series.

It’s child-friendly too
If your youngsters or young adults want to get involved, they can too! There’s a kids’ ride for children aged six to 15 years old, with the Dr Joy Dental Clinic Junior Rides, happening on Thursday December 14.
For the super young, The Arbor School Mini Challenge will take place for 2-5 years old in Cycle Village on Thursday & Friday.
It’s a great day out
The Cycle Village, located the Dubai Autodrome, has plenty of fun happening throughout the day.
As well as providing a dedicated event for keen cyclists and newcomers, Spinneys, the locally-owned supermarket chain, will be providing breakfast for everyone.
Last year Spinneys ruled Cycle Village with lots of festive feasts (think mince pies) as a post-ride breakfast treat!
