Tesla Will Open Its Dubai Showroom Next Week

Tesla will officially be opening its Sheikh Zayed Road salesroom and service centre on Wednesday July 12 it looks like. 

Customers of the car brand received official invitations to the opening of the showroom, according to Arabian Business. 

The official opening will feature Tesla’s Model X and Model S that will be available to order immediately, alongside an opportunity to allow individuals to customise the vehicle of their dreams by using an online design studio feature.

Prices are said to vary between AED275,000 and AED344,000 for the cars available to the UAE. 

The CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk has commented that he expects that the company will invest millions in the electric car infrastructure in the UAE over the next few years.

“Almost all cars that will be produced will be capable of full autonomy in about ten years. Tesla cars that are made today have the sensor system necessary for full autonomy and we think probably enough compute power to be safer than a person.”
