Dubai International Film Festival Is Looking For Volunteers And It’s Pretty Exciting

The DFF takes place every year here in Dubai, this year they’re looking for volunteers too. If you’re thinking free jobs are not your thing, this is something you’d be crazy to miss. The eight-day event brings you face-to-face with international stars, gives you access to some brilliant films and is loads of fun (we’ve done it so we know). This an opportunity for the youth out there who are willing to work for the film festival, it also will provide the youth with something unique over their CV’s.

Some of the available volunteering positions for the Dubai International Film Festival include:

You can be a part of the administration or the box office. You can volunteer to usher guests or even help out on the red carpet. Plus, there are opportunities in the marketing and media department as well as event management.

Here are some of the perks of being a volunteer at the Dubai International Film Festival:

You get a DIFF screening voucher for every shift completed. The voucher can be redeemed for a ticket at the DIFF box office for DIFF films only. You also get a food voucher for each completed shift during the festival. Plus, at the end of the event, you get a certificate of appreciation signed by the festival chairman. In some cases, you get to meet with the Actors/Actresses.

What are they looking for?

Ideally, they would like volunteers who are friendly, have excellent communication skills, interest in films and are willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
