Dubai International Film Festival returns on 7 December.

Like every year, this year they're looking for volunteers too. If you're thinking free jobs are not your thing, this is something you'd be crazy to miss. The eight day event brings you face-to-face with international stars, gives you access to some brilliant films and is loads of fun (we've done it so we know).

Some of the volunteering positions available include:

You can be a part of administration or the box office. You can volunteer to usher guests or even help out on the red carpet. Plus, there are opportunities in the marketing and media department as well as event management.

Here are some of the perks of being a volunteer:

You get a DIFF screening voucher for every shift completed. The voucher can be redeemed for a ticket at DIFF box office for DIFF films only. You also get a food voucher for each completed shift during the festival. Plus, at the end of the event you get a certificate of appreciation signed by the festival chairman.

What are they looking for?

Ideally, they would like volunteers who are friendly, have excellent communication skills, interest in films and are willing to work in the fast-paced environment.

But, as long as you're a resident of the UAE and are above 18 years, you're welcome to apply.

If you want to volunteer...
