An Endangered Whale Shark Has Been Spotted Off The Coast And People Are Being Warned To Stay Away
A whale shark has been spotted off the coastline of Abu Dhabi over the past week, and residents are urged to maintain their distance for the creature’s safety.
The Environmental Agency Abu Dhabi (EAAD) shared a post of the whale shark – which is an endangered species.
They’re not harmful, but boats can injure the gentle giants.
Whale sharks grow to around 10m in length and weigh nine tonnes.
