Last month saw the shocking murder of eight year old Obaida Ebrahim Sedqi, who was abducted and then strangled by a 48-year-old after the boy resisted his attempt to rape him. Post the tragic incident, Dubai Police have launched a safety awareness campaign just for children. Through these two Arabic cartoons, they aim to emphasise the risks children are exposed to when talking to strangers. Check out the messages in both their videos...

1. They should say ‘no’ when an older child wants to accompany them to the bathroom

2. The second video sees the child screaming for the police when approached by a stranger to enter the car
