Authorities Are Warning Emiratis On A WhatsApp Scam Involving UAE’s National Day

If you ready any direct WhatsApp messages about winning a prize on the occasion of UAE’s upcoming 48th National Day on December 2, think twice before doing what it directs. In a new announcement by The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), it is asking the public, especially Emiratis being targeted, not to believe in the latest round of online scam messages.

If it asks you to click on a link, and asks for your personal information- chances are, it isn’t real.
