If you like Disney like most humans on this planet do, then you’ll be pretty excited to hear that Beauty and the Beast opens today at the World Trade Centre. You’ll be even happier when we tell you that we have a pair of tickets that could have you sitting in pretty plush seats, and watching Belle and co, at the 4pm showing this Friday. We know…we’re too kind!
The shows this weekend are the last leg of a world tour of the musical love story. Broadway Entertainment Group opened the first ever International Tour of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast in Istanbul in October 2014 and has since taken the Broadway hit musical to parts of the world it had never seen before, visiting over 15 cities including: Ankara, Bangkok, Beirut, Doha, Jakarta, Manila, Macau and Taipei.
The production has 33 cast members as well as 11 musicians and there are over 300 individual pieces of costume…so we’re sure it’s going to be pretty spectacular!
