Calling All Chocoholics – 10 Desert Desserts You Need To Try Right Now
Quite frankly, nothing beats chocolate when it comes to dessert. Sure, you’ll branch out the odd time and try something new, but you’ll always come back.
To show some love, we’ve compiled a list of the naughtiest chocolate desserts Dubai has to offer (depending on how chocoholic you are, some of them could even double for breakfast).
Be warned though, some of these pics are so temptacious – not a real word I know, but it felt right – that they’ll have you feeling like you’re cheating on your diet just by looking at them.

For those of you who don’t know, a poffjertes is a traditional dutch batter treat – kind of like a small pancake (thanks, Wiki). Dunk yours into this molten chocolate mess at Little mOre. *shivers*
2. Chocolate Shot @ Vintage Chocolate Lounge
If you like your chocolate warm and melted (and let’s be honest, who doesn’t), this sugary shot is sure to give you your daily coco fix without the hassle of using a spoon.
3. Nutella Cheesecake @ Sugaholic Bake Shop
Seriously, just look at it. You can almost taste it already. One of the best cheesecakes going, make sure you try this one. It’s disgustingly, delightfully indulgent.
4. Gluten Free Lava Cake @ Chikalicious
One for Celiacs and gluten intolerants amongst us. Yep, this one’s a gratuitous video. Just check out the gooky, chocolatey goodness oozing out of this lava cake. It’s so wrong, but oh so right.
5. Nutella-Banana Pancakes @ Circle Cafe
If this is breakfast, it’s one of champions. Nice and simple, it has all the key elements of an absolutely epic dessert: Nutella, pancakes and banana. Banana is one of my five-a-day right?
6. Rich Dark Chocolate Torte @ Gaucho’s
Gaucho’s don’t just do steak. This may look like a simple Torte, but simple it is not. It has basil-scented summer fruits and a malamado sauce. Seriously who comes up with these things? Apparently, Gaucho’s. Yum!
7. Coffee & Mars Torte @ Tortino Cafe
It’s strange how nobody seems to like Mars bars until they’re melted down and made into something else. This is a prime example of doing it right.
8. Chocolate Chip French Toast @ Fraiche
In fact, it’s chocolate chip banana bread French toast, with chocolate sauce and banana slices. Quite a mouthful. A delicious, delicious mouthful.

I think the name and picture says it all in this case.
10. The Fantastical @ Spontiphoria
These guys also refer to it as the “French Toussaint”. Croissants treated like French toast. Fried to delight, drizzled in nutella and scattered with marshmallows and fresh berries. Get in my belly!
