The Beach Canteen Is Back And Here Are 5 Sensational Dishes To Try
The Dubai Food Festival kicks off today and has a great range of activities to get involved in. The Etisalat Beach Canteen is running for the duration of the festival and is a pop-up on the beach, behind Sunset Mall in Jumeirah.
There’s plenty to do – including open-air cinema, free fitness classes and cooking classes, but of course the most important thing is eating, and here’s some of the ones you want to make sure you get a taste of.
Kaak Al Manara
These little sandwiches are crispy bites of goodness. There is also fresh lemonade to wash it down with.
Moshi Sushi
Falafel sushi? Actually it’s delicious, with the crispy falafel giving the sushi a lovely crunch. There are loads of flavours including Cheetos sushi.
Pit Fire Pizza
New York-style pizza by this American husband-and-wife team. The portions are huge, and the crusts are light and crispy.
The Inventing Room
These nitrogen-shot Cheetos are freezing cold and make for some amazing videos – you’ll look like a dragon when you eat them…trust us!
Wofl
A waffle like no other, these little gems come in sweet and savoury and are light and fluffy. Try the savoury ones for something a bit different.
The Beach Canteen is free to enter and open from today (February 23) until March 11.
