Happy 1st of the month! We hope you're well rested after the weekend although if, like us you're still recovering from Sensation we totally feel you pain. Oh well, we can rest when we're old. Here's a couple of things you might want to mark down in your calendar, as usual we have another jam-packed week ahead.

1. Dubai World Game Expo

Gamers and developers alike should be very excited about this one. It's the best chance all year for people in the industry to network, develop ideas and introduce new concepts.

When: Tuesday, 3rd - Wednesday, 4th

How much: Free online reistration

2. Global Village Reopens

Global village opens for the start of the season on Tuesday. This is an amazing five month extravaganza of festivals, food and shopping. The event hosts over 70 countries and has got some great rides for the kids (and of course for yourself if you feel like acting like a six old).

Where: Global Village

When: Tuesday 3rd - April 9th

3. The Dubai Pre Owned Boat Show

The above is pretty self explanatory, current and aspiring boat owners should head to this one, also any one who likes to have a nice walk along the waterfront while taking in some very impressive boats at the same time.

4. The Dubai Fitness Fest

This fest is all about promoting an active healthy lifestyle for all age groups and ability levels. Take part in endurance, fitness and strength competitions, watch some shows or try one of the many classes available. From climbing walls, deep freezing in the CRYO cool zone to golf simulators you'll definitely find something to interest you.

5. The Ripe Food Market

One of the nicest way to spend your Friday mornings this is one of our favourite markets and definitely one of the best spots to get fresh fruit and veg in the city. While over 100 local businesses are involved this is a great way to show support for the local community. A live petting zoo will definitely keep the kids entertained too.
