1. The Address Montgomorie

2. Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Clinic (04 380 1234)

A scenic 18-hole championship course in the heart of Old Dubai. Once you’re finished you can re-hydrate on the very tempting sangria options at Casa de Tapas close by. SOLD.

Expect to pay around AED 665 (weekday) – AED 770 (weekend) for the main course and AED 40 for 50 balls at the driving range which is on a first-come basis.

3. Al Badia Golf Club (04 601 0101)

An 18-hole course designed by the renowned Robert Trent Jones II. It features a floodlit driving range for those of you who don’t want to brace the day time summer temps. Extras including MATT swing analysis and a Science and Motion putting laboratory for those of you who really want to up your game!

Price: AED 495  on weekdays for UAE residents and AED 625 on weekends.

4. Arabian Ranches Golf Club (04 366 3000)

It spans 247 acres (120 acres are irrigated) and the course is a par 72. Plus it has a floodlit driving range for all the after-workers.

Home to the Middle East’s only European Tour Performance Institute (ETPI): a state-of-the-art performance enhancing facility, for new and advanced level golfers. Fancy that, enjoy.

Price: 18 holes AED 995, 9 holes AED 545 (weekdays) and AED 650 (weekends). Driving range is AED 100 for unlimited balls for one hour.

6. The Els Club at Dubai Sports City (04 425 1000)

Designed by US Open and Open Championship winner Ernie Els, it stretches 7,538 yards with four sets of tees. Good news: you can play on the manicured surface all year round. 

Price: AED 545 Sunday – Wednesday for UAE residents, AED 645 Thursday – Saturday for UAE residents. Driving range is AED 100 for unlimited balls.

7. The Track, Meydan Golf (04 381 3733)

The course is 7,412 yards and renowned golf course architect Peter Harradine strategically placed each hole, allowing the natural lakes there to come into play. Picture perfect!

8. Emirates Golf Club (800 8338463)

Not one, but two golf courses: Majlis and Faldo. By the way Majlis also features in the list of top 100 courses in the world. Bravo!
