It’s Official: The Top 10 Places To Get Avocado And Toast In Dubai

Avatar

Avocado took the most humble of snacks (toast) and amplified it to ‘breakfast of kings’ status.

And while every breakfast spot worth its salt has an avocado on toast dish… that’s where the similarities end. It’s the little additions that make all the difference, but what are we kidding, they’re all great.

Choosing this top ten was painstaking, and the list might cause some debate, but here goes…

How did Lovin Dubai choose the final list?

  • Finalists were selected from all across Dubai
  • Online reviews, previous media coverage and notable blogs were also included in the overall rating
  • The final list is subjective – if we’ve missed out on any must-try places across Dubai, please do let us know!
  • The brand’s social media audience and engagement were considered

10. Urban Bistro, Media City

This is a no frills ‘avo that’s max on flavour. It comes crushed on multi seed toast, with mascarpone and beet chutney to keep it company. Delish!

This pretty waterside location is the one to know when you’ve got a lunch meeting in Media City.

9. Bystro, JLT

A spot that does all day breakfast on Fridays is a spot worth knowing, so you can thank us later on this one. Great ambiance, delish ‘avo on toast, this is what weekends are made for.

Can we take a moment for Surf House, your go-to for all things surfing in Dubai also serves up a great avo brekkie dish. Plus the coffee here is some of the best in Dubai.

Particular shout out to this spot for not going over-board on prices like so many other places in Dubai.

5. Tom & Serg, Al Quoz

Of course, Tom & Serg, the OG of breakfast spots in Dubai wouldn’t be complete without a shoutout to this Al Quoz gem.

ALWAYS breaking boundaries when it comes to breakfast and they’ve smashed this smashed ‘avo with marinated tomato dish, it LOOKS the business and it’s got packed with flavour to match.

3. Project Acai, Dubai Marina

Following a low-key opening Project Acai has grown a loyal local fan base over the last couple of years. Not JUST great spot for acai, the ‘avo here with two poached is no-frills and shows how the simple ingredients can be ‘hella good with a little salad on the side to keep things interesting.

Big love for Projeto, never change

Common Grounds, and the Bull & Roo Group, its parent company, do beautiful things with avocado.

1. Society, Jumeirah 1

I LOVE the avocado and toast here. And while it’s easily one of the steepest of the bunch price wise, the delivery of dish is phenomenal and addition of cream cheese under the ‘avo (if you haven’t tried this yet, DO IT) helped this beaut dish steam-roll into the number one position.
